Did
you know we have . . .
|
|
.
. . an electronic card catalog? In fact, we share a system
with almost 70 libraries in Central Illinois. This shared database
of materials allows you access to materials in all of these
libraries, and many more besides. Our electronic card catalog
is available on the Web. Just click on the Catalog button
on the left, or click
here. We add new items every month, so be sure to check
out our new additions. |
|
.
. . a local history room? In this room, located in the basement,
you can use materials to aid in genealogical research or learn
about the historical events that continue to shape Mattoon and
the surrounding area. Please call ahead before visiting to ensure
we have the staff available to open the room. |
|
.
. . videos in both VHS and DVD formats? Interested in
something we do not have? We may be able to obtain it from
another library. Ask for assistance or click
here to view our online catalog.
|
|
.
. . a textbook library? Made possible through a donation
from Community Unit School District #2, we have an extensive
collection of textbooks from each grade in the local school
district. If your children forget a book at school, bring them
to the library to finish their homework. This is a reference
collection, so you can only use the books in the library. |
|
