A Friend...A thing of beauty and a joy forever.Be a Friend of the mattoon Public Library We are the Friends of the Mattoon Public Library, a group of individuals who believe that our library is a valuable community resource. Please join us as we - - Hold book sales and other fundraising activities to supplement our library and its holdings.
- Promote the "joy of reading" through lunchtime book reviews and other activities.
- Periodically gather to learn about new library projects or to provide feedback on proposed changes.
Membership dues are only $10 annually ($5 for senior citizens and students), and are tax-deductible. To join or to obtain additional information, fill out the attached form and leat it at the library desk or mail it to the library. Application! (Link Currently not working). 1/29/09 |

Join the Friends of the Library every 3rd Monday of the month. Bring your sack lunch at Noon-1pm to the Mattoon Public Library 's Community Room to hear about some great books and have fun with friends. |
